The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is Hollywood's only historic hotel still in operation today - having just celebrated its 75th anniversary with a $15 million renovation.
The home of the very first academy awards in 1929, was built as a glamourous gathering place and hotel movies stars of that period and investors included Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford.
